The Design Phase Roadmap
Cabinetry
Cabinetry is one of the most important decisions you will make in this process. We make this decision first because it has the longest lead time and directly relates to the floor plan.
Let’s schedule a showroom visit a week from now!
Plumbing Fixtures
This happens early so we can have rough-in on site for the plumber.

Lighting Fixtures
I like to purchase light fixtures after construction starts and within a return window just in case they don't work out. We can still pick them out early.
Wall Covering
I can order samples at any time. There are a few great showrooms at the Seattle Design Center we can visit and I also like to use www.spoonflower.com. I have their product installed in my studio which you can see when you come to look at cabinets.
Hardware
Showroom visit to Chown Hardware! This decision should happen after plumbing fixtures are selected so we can find cabinet hardware that compliments them. We can do this visit at the same time as the Plumbing Fixtures since it's in the same area of town.
Glass
Shower glass will be one of the last things to get installed but I will get estimates early on.
Accessories
These are also one of the last things that get installed and should complement the plumbing, lighting, and hardware.
Furnishing
If you have inspirational photos of a furnishing you would like to add to your space, please email it to me as it would be very helpful in narrowing down styles.
Meanwhile…
I will be working on the Product Schedule, which we go over together, and review budget allowances for each of these items.
